At Avonvale Education Support Centre, the classrooms are purpose built and all students have access to the latest technology. From classroom computers to iPads, students are provided with the opportunity and instruction to use technology effectively. Many students use iPads to communicate with staff and iPads are an integral part of the teaching and learning program.

Both campuses have a kitchen, laundry, shower and toilet facilities to develop student independence.   There are also vegetable, herb and sensory gardens to cater to individual student needs and interests.

The primary campus has access to our safe and enclosed playground area where they can build their social skills under the guidance of our staff. The secondary campus shares the facilities with the high school population and gains independence through positive interactions with NSHS students.
